I’m a Peruvian Full Stack UX/UI Design Manager with 10 years in the industry, currently working at Globant on the Deloitte USA account. I design experiences for various platforms, create prototypes and local components, and coordinate with large teams (+20), often leading them. Alongside my design work, I actively participate in the global technical recruiting process and mentor other designers, contributing to initiatives within my design studio (60).

In our fast-paced world, scheduling time with loved ones can feel like booking a meeting weeks in advance. Yet, despite the busyness, making time for the people who bring us joy is essential. These are the friends, family, and partners who’ve always been there, sharing in our laughter and supporting us through challenges. We try to give the best of us to the people we share our life with, offering them our love, support, and presence.
As I reflect on happy moments from the past decade, I realize a common thread runs through them all: the presence of loved ones. Whether it’s a shared laugh with a friend, a comforting embrace from a partner, or a heartfelt conversation with family, these connections enrich our lives.
Life may be a long journey, but the memories we create with loved ones are what truly make it worthwhile. Let’s all make an effort to prioritize these relationships, even if scheduling is necessary. Don’t stop nurturing these connections – they make us better, more empathetic, and truly human.
